Psalm 126 1 When the LORD brought back the captives to Zion, we were like men who dreamed.
2 Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy. Then it was said among the nations, "The LORD has done great things for them."
3 The LORD has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.
4 Restore our fortunes, O LORD, like streams in the Negev.
5 Those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy.
6 He who goes out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with him.

So here I stand, on the edge of a precipice, the bottom unseen. I won’t be here long, only a few hot summer months, with you. Part of me curses time and fate – why bring us together at such a time as this? How could you ever know how I feel, if I feel anything? I know I must jump on my own, even if I want you, and many others, to go with me.
Somewhere at the bottom, I will see you. Maybe it will only be to share one more song. Maybe my eyes will open and I’ll realize how we were meant to be together or the opposite, the contrast, how I don’t feel anything for you but feelings of brotherly love. Maybe we will become best friends, and you will know me more than anyone. Or maybe you will play drums and I’ll go to college and I’ll only hear your name every now and then.
